Actually Bill Gates was one of the 1st members (of a large computer group that
openly shared computer programs) to charge for his programs as intellectual
property...
I'm not sure as to what you were (steal) referring to... I hadn't heard
anything back then...

I am no big fan of his, however the bugs and faults in all of the windows platforms pay my bills and buy me toys.....

I own the movie "pirates of silicon valley" and even though BG is a rip off artist, he is very wealthy from it.

Probably a poor example, and I am not "sticking up" for wicked, I guess I was just trying to illustrate that all companies started out with basic ideas put into motion.

A good CEO does not even have to posses a great deal of business skills, they can always hire a manager for that if needed.

@ lasersbee: nothing important, just a software he was, supposed, working on, for a client, in collaboration with another programmer, and that he sold as his own creation to another, when they asked for it.

If i recall correctly, it was called MS-DOS ..... :p :D

BTW, this is offtopic, but i'm wondering why the self-called "inventor" of msdos, actually, for his products (95, 98, w2k, xp, and so on) still use a startup shell based on DRDos, the dos developed from Digital Research, one of the concurrents ..... (LOL)

(if you want a proof, use a serious recovery program, like filescavenger, on any xp disk, searching for "long search" ..... it shows you all the hidden sections and directories of the disk, included the ones that the OS intentionally hide to any search ..... sometimes is funny, seeing what is hidden in our disks, out from our knowledge :p)
