What do I do? [potential scam]

I ordered a 50mw laser from laserpointerworld.com

For some reason it seemed like a legitimate site. After ordering I sent them an email saying that I wanted to upgrade my shipping speed, I didn't get an answer the next day so I checked their "contact us" page and they have no phone number and in the emails they send me it says this "please call us from 10am-8pm at ."

YES instead of a phone number it says "." What should I do, I ordered on the 19th and purchases a tracking number and haven't gotten a response to my email since. It's been 5 days.... :undecided:

Most Chinese businesses seem to be closed down for the holidays now, which seems surprising. It isn't nearly long enough to worry yet though. If you paid with PayPal then you're covered, wait up until the claims limit and then file a claim before time runs out if you haven't received anything yet.

I'm planning on a major order from Lazerer (a very trusted company) but I'm not going to order until the new year because otherwise my order will likely just sit there forever during the holiday season. Sometimes you just have to wait in order to get the fastest service. Unfortunately you ordered from a (probably) unproven site and at the worst time of year to place an order. There's no reason (yet) to suspect it won't go OK, butit does mean you'll have to wait a while.

I wouldn't worry too much. I've ordered most of my lasers from shadier Chinese sites and they did come after about 2 weeks or so.

Patients my friend. Its a Cheap Drop shipping china site. They dont keep items in stock. You should expect your laser if they are fast ~4 - 8 Weeks. Thats a Good average time that i have seen with cheaper China sites with free shipping etc. Even if you did the faster shipping it will take ~3 weeks with my experience.


Also as a side note i think this site is owned and run by dinnodirrect too. But i could be wrong. I thought i seen that somewhere.

Yes! I knew it! They have the same fax number. I don't care about shipping time, I just care about them not answering my email after 5 days.... I'll wait though. :tired:
