New guy here, I'm looking at ordering a green waterproof laser from rayfoss. I am a bit hesitant to do so because another manufacturer had this same model on their discontinued list (laserpointerpen). LPP mentioned that they were "unstable" and hence discontinued.

What is the ordering procedure for Rayfoss? I filled out their forms but saw no place to give credit-card info; how does one typically pay rayfoss, and how long does it take for them to contact a buyer?

thanks

Welcome! I'm also new here. I just ordered a laser from Rayfoss a few days ago and got the email with the paypal instructions the next day. My guess is it could come on the same day depending on the time.

Thanks. I placed the order and a day later got the paypal request via email.
Hopefully my new toy should be here in a few weeks...

I bought the Laser King 200mw from Laserlands.com a couple of months ago, and it is my favorite laser to date. Waterproof with adjustable beam. I don't know exact output, but it pops balloons instantly, and will chase birds from a roof a block away.
Merry at Laserlands.com has always answered my questions and shipped my orders within a day or two.

I decided to grab a second one. I ordered a 405 laser from laserlands. I ordered their waterproof one. I think my rayfoss green and laserlands 405 are similar in appearance and will use the same battery -- assuming the pictures and specs on the website are correct.

Rayfoss mailed me and said that my laser was testing and would ship soon. The laserlands website reported that mine was still processing. I understand that they're a drop-shipper, and thats fine as they're probably waiting on the fabrication/assembly before shipment. I'll report back when I have them both in hand.

I like the idea of waterproof as it rains like a bastard here. It looks like laserlands just shipped it. They gave me a tracking number, but no obvious website to plug it into. I figure it'll get here when it gets here.

Rayfoss has not shipped my waterproof green yet, but it will probably go out in a day or two.

Can you post a picture of your 405 from laserlands? Im curious to see if it matches their website's pics

thanks

Thanks for the link. I don't think mine is tracking yet. I'll check again tomorrow.

The Dicky at laserpointerpen.net also recommended me not buy the waterproof green in hurry and they said they sold hundreds of the green laser waterproof models till then but the feedback was not good enough, and that's why they kinda suspended the sales of the same model. i appreciate their honesty much and finally ordered the 200mw red laser torch-focusable, which, to date, is good enough for me. So i would rather recommend u the 200mw red laser at ★200mW Red Laser Pointer - Cut Tapes By Waterproof II Red Laser Series - Laserpointerpen.net, and they upgraded it to around 240mw in average power.
BTW, don't forget to ask for free goggles from them coz their goggles are rly good. :)
