Hey, look at this link.
Story:
Someone bought a 300mW 808nm (infrared) laser, got one (after a few weeks of delay) rated 532nm (green), and turned it on and its 660nm (red) ! And......

its 5mW! of pure awesomeness and wonder.

So I'd say... yeah they are of any good. Good at making a horrible reputation at a forum.

Do you think they know what they are selling?

I think your story is wrong...
The one who buyéd it thinks it's red and 5mW wich is not 660nm but 808nm IR wich shows up as dim red just like he ordered.

Don't have experience with Warnlasers myself.

Neither do I, but I wouldn't trust them just from looking at their website and chatting with their customer service...

This is my experience as of today. A few days ago I decided to buy a few lasers from them cause, for me at least, LPF has their ads. Had quite an expensive cart ($2k+) realized I should do some research after I checked out, yea smart on my part huh? So I send them an email requesting to hold/cancel my order. Mr Zachary Tutenwald assured me that "These have powerful and burn many things.I think they can capable of etching stone(color black) within short distance." Well that's good news, he must be german. So I decided to cancel the order, no response this time where as before within half hour. So a few days later, today, I awaken to find the charge has gone through. So I call my bank and start an investigation. As soon as I get off the phone I get an email from Mr Tutenwald simply stating "ok,refund". So in my opinion this business is not what one might consider integral, and any other acronyms of the word. Was hoping they had already sent the lasers, FRICKIN LASERZ AND MONIES!? So to sum it up, if their product is even half of their business practices, lets get hope you won't miss your eyes

Warnlasers web site looks good but Warnlasers pirces are very high for what they offer + they are resellers, they don't make anything just rename items it looks like. The product claims come from the Chinese manufacturers who often lie for $s -

Check out also JetLasers.org the are honest , make a great product, and give best customer service I have ever encountered.

PS likethefonz -- Raster engraving stone does not require a lot of power, a 35 watt laser is fine for this purpose and what some people use for the purpose though faster results are achieved with a 65W. Way beyond what any hand held portable lasers can do.
