Vote, and comment if you wish - on your favorite laser company, out of all those listed above.  Write ins are okay in your comments if you wish !

I chose Laserglow, as they are the only company I have dealt with out of all those listed above for an actual laser purchase - well, actually, Windstrings, but close enough ! Out of many dialogs with Justin, he really goes out of his way to assist folks, and be friendly - even AFTER he has your money ! Thanks, Justin.

As this is only about experience i have gone with Dragon Lasers, They've treated me with respect and always helped me with any questions. Not to mention when asking for spare stickers they gave me 30 ;) no questions asked . They also shipped my laser faster than any order from WL as theirs no comunication delay. I will say that WL were good but delays in responce of emails etc leaves me cold. The fastest responce i had from Steve @ WL was only when i sent money, he was quick then ;D and that's no bulls**t either. Dragon are consistant with comunication which to me shows integrity and good moral values & not motivated by profit and greed alone ::)

Well done Dragon Laser i'll be back for another no hesitation.

Its a challenge now a days to get a company to "meet" your expectations in customer service... Its a bright spot in the sky when you find one that "exceeds" your expectations!.
Justin out at laserglow has gone above and beyond "without asking" my expectations to provide satisfaction.
Seems he is always very busy when you get him on the phone, but he still takes time to spend the needed time with you.

I have not only seen him treat me more than fair, but every customer I have referred his way has "to be best of my knowledge" had the same experience!
One customer made arrangements to get a 300mw and when he went to buy it, laserglow was out of them so he got a 325mw for the same price!... Wow... what a lucky guy!!! and Wow!.. what a swell company!

No hard core rules and statues.. just real people doing whats "right" for the customer and even more that whats "right".

Companies like this raise the par for all the others..... I have had good experience with Dragon lasers too, but they are extremely limited as to how far they can bend to accomodate compared to laserglow.
Being in China and not being quite so personable due to the distance may have something to do with it too.. but they too have been very true to thier word and professional.. they are another bright spot in the big dipper of lasers in the sky and produce a fine product!

I'm with Windstrings here - LaserGlow actually stood by their price match guarantee and delivered a better laser than I thought I would get for the price. I love my ARIES 225!!! Honorable and professional. That gets my vote.

Runners up are Optotronics and LucentOptics. Both have awesome products and I will probably buy from them soon... I'd really like a PPL 300mW 635 nM (just a hint) if they are ever made...

Well i guess I am in a minority here . But WL is my choice. Andrew at customer service has been spot on...so much so that my RMA greenie 35mw should be on its way back soon as well as my newly ordered Pulsar 100.

laserglow has an exceptional rep in justin. everything about this company is first class. if they give a rating to one of their products, you can be sure that it is dead on balls accurate.

lucent optics must be included. i own an envee and their service has been better than wl and dl. i voted for laserglow but not to include lucent in poll is wrong.

Atlasnova doesn't offer any of the really high-power ones like the others, but I think they're about the best there is for what they do.

Optotronics is also a top company for me, and though I have limited personal experience with laserglow, they seem equally good.

Wicked and Dragon Lasers both have their issues, and I would have trouble putting them above opto or LG overall.

Lucent isn't too great as an overall company IMO for various reasons, but for their product and prices (basically, what they offer us), they would also rank pretty high.

Ebaysers? ;D Spymode and the like don't even deserve to be on the list, but as long as no one votes for them I'm content :D

The part of this poll that makes me surprised that laserglow is on top so far, is the fact that they are in a different class of lasers.... what I mean they are more expensive than the pen lasers that most can afford.

This poll tends to indicate "the best" based on actual numbers of clients who post.

If there are 10 people out there that bought penlasers and half were estatic while the other half was pissed, then only two people bought the more expensive lasers, and they all posted their likes, the penlasers would have 5 points and the more expensive ones would only have two.

the poll would show more people liked the penlaser company, when in reality only half were happy and 100% was happy with the more expensive?... see what I mean?

I"m not sure how to fix this problem either... although I too feel laserglow is superb.... I just think there are 20 people out there that have bought pen lasers for every one person that has bought a laserglow?
Am I wrong... could be, but I just bet the cheaper ones sell much more quantity to those of us on the forum.

I now wonder if laserglow is even higher than depicted here?

If we could somehow look at the percentages of satisfied customers that have bought laserglow and every other company, then we could compare percentages?

If anyone knows a better way to do this.... speak up!

Well - I tried to kinda "narrow it down" so to speak. I just wanted to see a basic breakdown of who has worked with who - and if they were happy or not. I really had no ulterior motive behind this, other than curiosity. I did not mean to leave out Lucent Optics - not by a long shot ! I think this is a fair representation - I had a pretty good idea that there would not be too many votes for WL on there - but yet, I only hear good things from those that have their products, too - I guess this will show the "best of the best" so to speak. I mean, if I had one laser from each company listed above, and I was happy with ALL of them - how would I choose ? I would then have to validate - not only here, but to myself which one I liked beast, and why. I was trying to make this poll not about people, or forums (I.E. Laser Community) but rather about the lasers - I guess I kinda worded the poll incorrectly. I think it would be a good idea for those of you with suggestions, or possibly even a better way to do this poll - HEY !!! Speak up ! DO IT ! Seriously ! Let's get some scientific poll results here....
