I have wanted to strangle my postman more than once for this very thing. Well, that and pushing my
mailbox back every time he delivers the mail.

Well my mail carrier is a very nice lady. Even gave us a christmas card :D

She always takes time to say hi to me and she even (just for me) opens the gate and gives me my packages personally. I got very lucky with my carrier. I would imagine some of you are not as lucky... :(

Hope fully it will get delivered tomorrow latest...

UPDATE:

It turns out my package was attemmpted to be delivered but ANOTHER problem has arisen. Now it shows "notice left" Which means they "supposedly" rung the doorbell and no-one answered. This is unacceptable because no one ever RANG the doorbell, and i was here the entire time.

I don't want to re-explain it so here is the text-complant i sent to the USPS who will again "supposedly" get back to me within 24 hours (WHICH NEVER HAPPENS)

WARNING: BI***ING AHEAD :D

"I am extremely disappointed. I waited all day for my package to arrive, and then i get an update on the tracking saying "notice left" however, this means they tried to deliver the package but i was not there to receive it. However, i was home the ENTIRE TIME AND at the time the notice was left, and the doorbell was never rung and we were never contacted that there was a delivery attempt. On top of that, no notice was ever left. Now, I cannot go to the Post office to pick up the package because there is no delivery slip and i could have just gotten it today but couldn't because the mail carrier didnt even TRY to deliver. This is EXTREMELY frustrating as i need this item by today and now i can't get it because of a lazy postal worker (no offense). I am not trying to be rude but this really makes my upset. The item has already been SEVERELY delayed and now, i cant get it because they could not take the time to ring the doorbell. I need this to be fixed. Thank you"

Well, either she's trying to butter you up, or your regular driver is off and you have encountered a substitute
mail carrier.

Happens all the time.

Print the tracking, and a receipt for the purchase, go and pick it up from the post office.

No need to wait for them to leave a notice.

patience is a virtue. it can get frustrating waiting on the mail, but don't let them control your behavior. take a deep breath.....ahhhh. these postal workers are human and mistakes are made.
i would hope by now you have the laser - update?

yep, but they left it in the rain, where there was a balcony 10 feet ahead. *sigh

no damage done though. thank goodness. what should have taken less than 2 weeks took a month.

What an ordeal. I just had a package overshoot my state to north Dakota lol. Christmas really jacked them up this year.
