It took a long time to decide on a company to buy some parts for my build from, but I decided on SurvivalLasers due to the extremely positive rep (and the LPF discount :p).

I ordered the C6 host, a C6 heatsink, a pre-set pre-wired buck driver, and a small heatsink for my driver (which I now know I don't need but it was less than a dollar so whatever).

Amazing prices on items AND shipping - the total was only $37 shipped! PLUS since they are one of the smarter companies with a US and an international warehouse, shipping was very fast... Ordered on Monday and it got here Thursday with the standard $3 shipping, and it wasn't scheduled to arrive til Friday (from Utah to North Carolina).

I haven't started the build yet but the pieces look solid. The host is really nice and is smaller than I expected, which is a GOOD thing! I wanted a smaller laser to throw in my pocket sometimes (of course, no public laser-ing where I could blind someone).

I'll reserve the second post for updates about how the parts hold up during the build.

As for now, SurvivalLasers has earned a new loyal customer and lots of praise! :D

:thanks: SurvivalLasers!

Well... sometimes a small host is disadvantage because of the small heatsink that can fit inside, but this depend to the power of the laser.:eg:
I think I will get some parts for a 1W@445nm laser from this shop.:D

Garoq and his website SurvivalLasers are great.

Fast shipping time and fast response time.

One of the items I ordered was an aluminum heatsink and didn't arrive with the set screw, but he shipped it out immediately. Great service as expected :D
