Not quite sure of which Search you see at the Bottom
of the Forum page...

All I see is the Forum [Search] button at the Top of
Forum Pages along with the Google Search Bar also
at the Top of Forum Pages....:undecided:

My mistake , there used to be a googl search bar down there.
I should have looked before writing the post.

I agree. Olike is fishy. I bought a laser from them. It's a great laser. I paid for it then waited. I contacted Susie to see if it was shipped but never got any confirmation. Then one day it showed up.

What is so "fishy" about ordering an item from a reputable
company from the other side of the globe and receiving
what you bought...:thinking::thinking:

I would call that GOOD Service.... nothing fishy about that...

I agree with LaserBee.

I find o-like's service really good, and yes i have tried their customer service.

Some month ago i bought a 150mW green laser that was said to be >125mW. When i first received it, it all seemed to be fine, but after some time i found out that it was TEM jumping. It looked like it went from TEM00 to TEM10 or TEM01 and sometimes meaby even TEM20. :(

I didn't found it fair that i paid $100 for a laser that was that unstable so i decided to contact Susie. I wrote to her that it was TEM-jumping and the next message i received from her was this:

It should be crystal problem ,we will send you a new module for replacement

Then i waited about 5 days for it to arrive. I found out that she sent it as express mail (++). I quickly turned it on and saw that it was little bit dimmer than the other module, but i didn't mind as i couldn't test the power of it.

Then some month later i decided to buy a BlueFan Basic LPM 2W, and i was finally able to see the real power of this laser. When i tested it i found out that it was stable at 120mW so that means it was 5mW underspec. I wrote to Susie about this and we came to compromise where she sent me $20 to refund the me. I found that fair and i'm now waiting for the money to come (got a mail saying they will come width 10-20 days).

So my overall experience i good :)

I can't see how that's important as i just vouched for O-Like's service, but it was a 150mW Power Rock Green laser. I can't link it as it isn't on their website anymore.

Was just saying that if the laser is underspec Susie will most likely find a solution with you.

Well.. yeah. If u look at it like that it seems to be really minor, but i looked at it in this way: I bought a 150mW laser that was confirmed to be atleast 125mW so i was kind of expecting it to be about 150mW. And 5mW out of 125 is 4% underspec which isn't too minor if i should say it :)

Since you asked....
I find it important to know what you actually purchased since you
stated that you used the specs to get a refund because your laser
was underspec by your stated 5mW. I like to see things for myself...

Perhaps your LPM is reading low... As far as I've read the LPM
you are using has a +/- 5% accuracy when it is new. That easily
fall into your discrepancy...

I find a $20.00 refund for a 5mW non confirmed low reading of
his laser seems a bit odd as well...:undecided:

Oh. Sorry if i sounded rude/arrogant. When i just saw ur post i thought u was saying it like my post was totally irrelevant without a link to the laser.

It could be reading low, but again - i was hoping and almost certain that i would get a 150mW laser as it was the name of the laser. Again 125mW was what it should be atleast and when i saw the output was a little under (or atleast that's what my lpm says.. or.. read) i thought i would contact Susie.

This also proves to me that the service is great, or atleast for me it was great :)

Susie must be running some huge margins to refund 20% of the price of a laser on a 5mW power deficit (4%), tested "some months later," on a laser technology that can vary in power output just by the temperature of the air in the room.

Listen, i'm not here to argue about if Susie did a good job satisfying her customer, but if u really want to dig into this then here's some other facts.

- The laser had an IR output of 15mW which means it was outputting 105mW 532nm for a 150mW 532nm laser.
- The test was done 3 times on 2 days at normal room temperature with the same result.

I really didn't thought u guys would be this skeptical getting me to explain more about the situation, and if the laser would degrade 20mW in a few month, i would seriously complain... And i'm not repeating me on the rest of the things i said in the other replays, so read them if u havn't already.

Peace  (I have no idéa why i just said peace o.o)
