I recently ordered a 16x Sony Diode from StoneTek. The purchase was really quick and easy as I was able to use Google Checkout and already have a Google account. I had a couple questions on my order, and when I sent emails, I was responded to within hours. I received the item packeged very nicely in it's own little box(which I am keeping to store other small parts. I am definitely going to be ordering more from StoneTek. This thing burns like crazy, adjusted just right I can instantly engrave in dark plastic. Although to you new Do It Yourself Red burner builders, I have a couple pieces of advice:
1. Buy the pre-installed diodes in the Aixiz modules. StoneTek only charges $1.50 more for the pre-installed ones. It's not worth your time, getting the other one out and getting the new one in straight. It took a few attempts at pressing it in to make sure mine was aligned straight.
2. Pay the extra shipping. Standard shipping is USPS standard mail and it feels like forever waiting for your laser when you are excited and want it now.
