hello all, i'm looking to buy a laser and there are so many "cheep sites" out there i don't believe i can trust them where would you go if you are looking to get a nice laser from a trusted site. I am willing to spend a little money, and would like something high powered and green. Any advice on companies or individual products want something durable and will last long without going over the top. Thank you in advance!

I'd take a look in the buy, sell, trade forum before buying online. I haven't been on in a while, but it seemed o-like and rayfoss were okay companies to order from.

EDIT- scratch o-like, it seems they have gone to crap. Optotronics would be what I recommend if you're looking for a green laser.

Here, take a look at this video and decide about how much power you want it to have:

(hope that embeds it right, its been awhile lol)

...and from there you can decide on a company based on either (a)how much money you are willing to spend on it, and/or (b)how high of quality you desire the laser to be.

Wait for the Jetlasers GB, it is totally worth it. When I say totally, I mean TOTALLY. You can check out the review of my Jetlaser laser in my sig to see their build quality.

Also you can go to Jetlasers.org to scout out a laser you like.

They have done this like 7 times now, I don;t think they have had any customs issues as of yet. Do a search for Jetlasers GB and you will find what you seek.

If you need it before the holidays then skip the Group Buys and start contacting companies. Also check out the b/s/t threads for a high powered green.

Out of those you mentioned:

#1 Jetlasers
#2 Lazerer.com
#3 Laserbtb.com(might be #2, don't know about this one)
#4 Rayfoss....Rayfoss is about the same as O-like and is les reliable no that they don't take Paypal

Also consider CNI Lasers, Dragon Lasers, Optotronics
