Hello LPF, just a quick question for anybody who has ordered VIA Lazerer.com. My order was place early in the AM on January 9th 2012 (About 1 month and 13 days ago) and it still says processing. I have emaild Max and he responded once about sending one lasere and the other seperatly. I have not recieved it after ~30 days and tried emailing again with no response. Has anybody recently received their order from Lazerer? I wouldn't usually be to worried but it was a $300 order. Thanks for any help!

-Also, I'm not sales trashing Lazerer what so ever. Probably just an error on their part. Only concerned.

As Laserbee said above, contact Max again. I personally have never dealt with Lazerer, but many have and Max usually provides excellent support.

Max just got back to me, he was a great help. I guess one of the lasers was out of stock for awhile and then shipped to the wrong address. We have it all figured out. Max was more than helpful! Can't wait to get my laser!

Thats good news.
Waiting that long is ridiculous (was it 'in stock' when you placed the order?), but credit where its due, Max is excellant at the customer service game.
My first experience with Lazerer wasn't the best, and it would be so easy to try and trash their good name, but Max is great to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from there again. His english is excellant too, thats a bonus :D
One thing I've noticed though, he should probably get more sleep. I've had emails from him which, when working out the time difference, have been sent up to midnight, and one at 4 a.m.
I could be wrong on that but it was the first thing that crossed my mind when the '4.am.' one landed. My first thought was...'wtf's he doing up?'...lol

Yes it was in stock when I ordered. Been checking it on and off for a while, never went out of stock that I saw. But who knows, max is great. And he is very friendly with great customer service. I have my own business and get 30-50 emails a day for customer support. It is not easy, I know. And he probably has alot more customers than I do wanting support. It's not easy to do it all on your own.

Not sure what your trying to say (English barrier maybe?) but I'm pretty sure you said that you ordered a laser and received it after 15 days. And they never sent you a tracking number. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I just got conned and ripped-off by lazerer.com for $134.99

Even though they advertised the safest, insured options on transportation, they don't have any insurance options during their web-order-checkout when ordering from them. So I asked and paid for extra insurance (for the LZSK - 445nm 1W Focusable Blue Laser Pointer) via E-mail/paypal.

This guy max, from lazerer told me that he a added tracking number and that everything was taken care of.

When the yellowish envelop from lazerer.com finally arrived, it was already torn apart and the laser was missing. I informed our post office and filled in all the necessary paperwork.

When I spoke to max from lazerer he told me he could only get back twice the amount of the shipping costs, which is about $10, but in no way will they refund you anything! But they are willing to compensate the next time you order from them (so you can lose everything all over again).

This is how they do business: prepare to kiss your money, time, and effort goodbye and get ripped-off, even if your order is insured!

Do not buy from lazerer.com you'll get scammed and lose your money!

1) You didn't get conned. Your laser got confiscated.

I can't tell where you're from but let's assume it's a place where importing NON-CRDH Certified lasers is illegal (most places, including the US). When you attempt to import an illegal item it gets confiscated, end of story. The merchant is in no way responsible to refund your order or replace it. It is clearly stated in their policy that it is up to the buyer to know their local and national laws and abide by them or risk confiscation/penalty.

2) The insurance option is for LOST/DAMAGED IN TRANSIT ONLY. Your laser is not lost it is confiscated.

This is the risk we all[/b] take when we order NON-CRDH Lasers from China. You should have known it could happen when placing your order. If you didn't know that, then I'm sorry to hear that. You had to learn it the hard way and that always sucks.

3) Lazerer/Max fulfilled his part of the deal until your government stepped in and decided you can't have dangerous toys. Don't go badmouthing/blaming Max, it wasn't his fault.

4) Did you pay by credit/card or paypal? You might be able to open a ticket and get your money back - though this isn't necessarily the "right" thing to do.

Also, don't go posting this in every damn Lazerer thread you see. Everyone knows (or should know) that confiscation can happen, you just happen to be the first case we've heard of it.

From another two threads I got the feeling that the laser was stolen. If it was confiscated, that's another story altogether.

Either way, he had 45 days to start a paypal dispute and didn't.

There is really no good answer. You can file a dispute if you don't receive what you ordered, but if the seller can provide tracking showing the package arrived to you, you may still be out of luck.

There is always risk... more in some places.
