Lasers Made in USA?

I forgot to mention this, but if you are tyring to replace your zippo with a laser to light cigars and cigarettes, you need to be looking into the 300mW range. 0.4mW is barely visible :-?

That's good, because I'm not looking for a super powerful laser - certainly I'm not trying to pop balloons or light cigars.

However, it's good to know that the 4mW might be closer to the "gas station" keychain laser pointer - that's what I'm trying to replace!

I'll check out Rat Shack to see what they have to offer as well.. there's about a million RS in Chicago, so that shouldn't be a problem!
