I don´t get people asking for advice after ordering a product.
Restraint, patience, guess this words are completely foreign words for some people out there.
Not that you haven´t seen this forum before, otherwise you wouldn´t have ordered the laser through the forum advertisement
Don´t think there are reviews of this specific laser around.

Exactly, that's something I too will never understand.
I will sometimes go through months of research to make sure that my money cannot possibly be spent on a better alternative of the thing that I want, especially if it's a bit larger investment like in lasers or other luxuries.
And yet I see people saying that they've just ordered something, and are now asking for any information and advices on the product.
Here's my advice: Seek advice BEFORE you make a purchase.

The time you spend on research is also an investment. If you research for 4 hours and end up saving $25, you're working for less than minimum wage.

But you gain a lot of information that will save time, effort, and money in the long run (and on your future purchases). Plus, learning about lasers is closer to enjoyment than a job

I do not think you can compare it like that, it's totally different.
If you research for 4 hours and end up saving $1, it's still worth it, because the only possible alternative is not saving anything at all.
You're not doing the research instead of your job so you're not losing anything in return.
In short, it's one of the best ways you can invest your time in.
Besides, what NO4 said. In the long run, it makes one hell of a difference.
