Hello to all forum members,

My name is Magdalena. I have read this forum for quite some time but as of now I hope to become a regular contributor. I am the customer service manager for NOVAlasers - a laser equipment and accessory company which has recently come on-line. If any one has any questions about our products or services please feel free to ask and I’ll respond on this forum as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading my post.

I like your site and I really like some of the products.

How long have you been in business?
Are all of your lasers IR filtered??
Do you sell any high powered red lasers??
What is your gurantee/return policy?
What is your gurantee for customs???
How is power measured (peak or stable - if stable, over what time period)?

Nice to see you here and I'll add you to my list of laser resources.

Nice to see some healthy competition come forward ! Let's see what you have, and how everything stacks up ! I am very eager to check out your products, as the pricing seems very fair.

thanks for joining the forum, novalasers! looks like you guys have some really competitive prices. once you get 20 posts you will be able to make the link in your profile clickable. there is a 20 post limit to post links in order to stop spammers.

like the website design it is very simple and clean  anyways have fun on the forum and feel free to post about new deals your company has, new products, etc.

Thank-you all for making me feel welcome.

NOVAlasers has been in business for a little under a year now, but we have only recently gone live with our website. We've taken care to make our website as complete as possible (I hate broken links as much as the next person..) but if anyone catches anything please drop us an email - we'd really appreciate it.
All of our lasers have internally fixed IR filters. And of course the IR filters are intact when we test our lasers for output power. If you'd like more information click on the "Individually Tested/No IR" button off of our home page.
We do not offer any red lasers at this time but plan to expand our line of lasers in the near future.
All of our policies, including our return and guarantee policies, can be found on our FAQ and Policies page. We guarantee all of our products and have a 7-day money-back on our X-Series lasers.
Our guarantee for customs is stated in our Policies page - we guarantee delivery of any of our products if we have accepted your order.
Power is measured as average, not peak. For complete information on our testing methods, the time period each laser product is tested for, and the equipment we use, click on the "Individually Tested/No IR" button off of our home page or visit our Policies or FAQ pages.

Product reviews are definitely in our plans for the near future. We have developed and sourced a fairly complete line of laser accessories also, some of which no one else offers at this time, which we'd like to get reviewed. So, if interested in being a reviewer, please drop us an email at sales@novalasers.com. We hope to make accessible to laser enthusiasts not just laser products, but also accessories in order to get as much fun and practical use out of lasers as possible.

Thanks for checking out our new website!

Hi NOVAlaser, my friend from TurboGadgets says he emailed you about product reviews and you haven't emailed back yet?

No need to review their products, their the same old CNIs you get from laserglow, etc. Most of them are either tried and true, or their faults are already well known.
Translations:
Alpha Series = Envee
Novas Seires = Aries/PGL-III
X Series = CNI black/gold/'Viper'

Prices don't seem too bad though, but I would be wary about trusting the so called '125mW' pen-sized lasers. Some of the power ratings may be exaggerated.

Thuglife: We'll review any emails starting tomorrow morning when I have had a chance to discuss any potential reviewers with my colleagues. We're glad your friend has already contacted us!

Pseudonomen137: You've categorized our products accurately. We do not at this time manufacture our own lasers but that is the goal that we are driving towards. At this time we aim to be the best supplier of these products on the market. Just to clarify - the NOVA Series is not the Aries/PGL-III. The NOVA Series is built especially for us and is purchased on an exclusive contract from Laserglow. The major difference between the Aries and the NOVA Series is that the Aries has a 1W pump diode while the NOVA Series has a 2W pump diode.
We have not and will never exaggerate our power ratings. It's good to see that you guys are keeping laser companies to their word. As you might have noticed, we are currently out-of-stock on our X-Series and Alpha Series 125mW models as we could not grade any of our units that high. Hopefully in future production runs we will be able to deliver 125mW units but at this time we have not been able to grade any that high using our testing standards.
If you do not find our laser products unique, please do check out our accessories, as we feel we definitely have new and exciting things to offer and these are the products we'd especially like to have reviewed.... for example, where else are you going to find an optic that stares right back at you (corner cube retroflector)!

Thanks for all your comments so far - keep 'em coming!

Hey folks - let's give them a chance - they deserve it...it takes a tad bit of capitol, and knowledge to get into the biz, so let's give them a fair shake, okay ? I Too, am looking forward to either reading about their reviews, or reviewing them myself...maybe I'll get lucky and be selected - although - that is ME laying all my cards on the table - NOT sucking up ! I do want them to have a chance...let's see what they can bring to the table !

Well i think they've got some nice goodies like optics and stuff, not to mention that they sell good goggles identical to WL sports type so i won't ever have to give the china man any money ever. So novalasers will get a purchase of a set of their goggles from me in the future ;)

The recent review on turbogadgets was of a product we carry as well - ours ships in a latching aluminum case with custom foam insert, and you accumulate LightYears with every purchase to use toward any of our products. We're keeping turbogadgets in mind for a review soon so keep on the lookout for that.

SenKat - thanks for the encouragement! NOVAlasers loves Laser Pointer Forums :D We've had a suggestion from a forum member that we make a custom engraved X-Series laser and give it away or maybe hold a contest for it? What do you guys think?
