DX Question. Read! (not the same as always)

k, 13 greenies and a dilda arrived today


one of the greenies mode hops

THIS batch is not as good as the one i got
the case has been modified, it is worse.....the spongy thing is lower quality, not even glued to the base.....it's not as cushioned as before

the screws on the greenies are horrible
only 3 or 4 of them came with well charged batteries and have acceptable screws.

the buttons are better though



i had a REALLY hard time with the dilda
as i hadnt ordered CR2's.....i had to spend 30 bucks on only 2 batteries

when i tried to get them in, THEY WOULDNT FIT!!
there was something there inside the barrel that was blocking them
so i used sand paper....for about 2 hours.....omg my fingers really hurt from that......
AND THEY STILL DIDNT GET IN.(yes they were the right size, they were CR2's)

finally i just pushed them in, a lot of force though....the batteries got kinda ripped because of the strength of the push

but wth...

and when i glued the lens to the head (because it was impossible to focus without the screw staying on the laser) i finally got to lighting a match




(my eyes hurt).

sounds like you got some bad luck in that order

yup...i still wish to sell all of them..

I still think you won't have any problems selling them.Too bad for the red 200...do you wish to sell that too?
Anyway, I got my DX30 yesterday.I have to say i'm pleased I got a good one.It doesn't seem to have any problems at all, except for the threads being a little rough and a LOT of IR spewing out.Can't really measure but acording to my estimates using my webcam it's the equivalent of 50 remote control LEDs It barely smokes black plastic with a lens so I'm not worrying about the IR, not using it to burn anyway.

yeah i really want to sell the dilda.....i was not as amazed as i thought i'd be...
if it sells fast and somebody wants another i hope to get a good one next time..


(the lens falls off...dude thats really lame....it unscrews...cmon!!......but really the worst part are the batteries not getting in..)

well you could always make one really cool laser show ..... 13 spyrographs well maby 10 and the other 3 difraction grattings would be cool

Well, you owe me for this one ;D. Here is video 1 of 3, pick your favorite of the three, they are basically all the same. Oh yeah, they are 20MB a piece. Don't even think about compressing them unless you want the whole point of the video to disappear.
