I won't buy from Dragon Lasers too, I think their lasers are bit priceys... And Yes, I RMA'ed a Spartan 1W back then and I had to cover for the Shipping cost too. I think the shipping is unfair considering they requested me to return it via tracking while the laser shipment back to me is without tracking.

Then I got a 1.6w DIY from some reputated member on this forums for the same price, wtf? @_@

They have offered a refund of the purchase price, not my shipping costs though.

The laser has been received, and they've said a refund would go through in 10 days. Just waiting at this stage to see if/when that happens.

Aside from not buying from DL I've also basically stopped recommending them... Sincerely hope they realize they lost quite a bit of business over this.

Please post if in 10 days they don't refund.

Sweet lord....

July 28th:
Dragon lasers "full refund" appears on my credit card statement... for $566.64
(I paid $618.69)

They've kept $52

I've contacted DL, and told them that they need to rectify this immediately.

They said:
"My suggestion is that you can please send your laser back to us and we will
full refund your payment include the shipping cost."
and then today:
"Your payment has been refunded in full."

Now I'm confused. I thought you said that from the get go they told you they were not covering shipping? Not that I agree with that, this is their error they should cover return shipping.

But yeah, why not call your CC company and just down a full charge back at this point?

If they refuse to give you back that $52, let them know that they've chosen $52 over all of LPF's recommendations ever.

If this is the case, I will also be registering the domain "dragonlasersscam.com" for a year for good measure. If anyone does any background check on them at all, they'll potentially lose a sale.

Correct - they refuse to cover return shipping. I think:
"full refund your payment include the shipping cost."

Means they'll the whole original payment I paid, including whatever portion of that went to cover the laser being shipped TO me. I'm still out the return shipping cost, and now ALSO $52.

So now, I'm out almost $120 on this.

I hope you get back your full shipment. I dont get back mine, I already stop recommending DL a long time ago ever since my purchased with them.

Wow...that's just low dude. File a charge back and be done with it already.

Personally I think we ALL need to start emailing Frank telling him we're going to boycott his site if he doesn't make this right.

What a load of crap. This has went from a very bad customer service issue to outright fraud / theft. Of course you can always hold a very underspec laser hostage until they fix this.

Edit: I'm hoping Avery is keeping tabs on this thread and considers not selling any ads to these guys.
