i bought two pairs of LSG02 to protect me with my new 3W 445nm - as i have seen their name floating around on the forum and someone from here reccomended Dragon Lasers as a reputable company to deal with.
Laser Safety Glasses, Goggles, Eyewear :: Dragon Lasers

I have this exact style and the reason i have ordered these ones is they easily sit over my glasses that i wear for every day life. as opposed to 'sunglass' style ones that obviously wont work.

Now what has arrived are two pairs of close fitting sunglass style wrap-a-round with a band to secure to the back of my head, which isn't going to work.

I emailed dragon lasers and they advise me
"Dear Daryl,

The order you have received is our new model and the look is a little bit different with the old version.
Actually they are same dimensions. Both of them do not suit users with glasses very well.

Your purchase is guaranteed to be satisfied. If you want to send it back for a refund I can have return instruction sent to you.
You will be responsible for both ways shipping costs.

Best Regards

Adam

Dragon Lasers Support"

Have to say im pretty disappointed !! no way should i have to pay TWO additional lots of shipping to make up for their screw up .. the curvature of the ones they have sent me are clearly going to cause a problem, with the larger ones being very 'flat' across the front.

Have emailed back advising them of this .. but seriously .. what a joke!

I would agree on this one. Get Eagle Pair ones, Survival Laser sells them for $45 last time I checked

I would have, but the style Dragon Lasers advertised (shown on their page) DO fit over my glasses, as i have the exact style from other chinese vendors - which is why i went with this particular style.

If i can get a full refund (not paying shipping) i will order the Eagle ones :)

it just sucks because i live in new zealand and its taken ~2 weeks to get these from china, to turn out to not be what ive paid for, and now they are asking for more money :-(

There's a mixed rep on DL here... on the surface you may find positive reviews, as they do use CNI modules, but there have been mentions of creating a "37 reasons not to buy from DL" just like the WL thread... good luck with your return, I do know that Frank is a nice guy so you should (ideally) be fine

I've had mixed interactions with Frank. I don't think it's him anymore, but a new guy, Adam.

Adam has always been there but hasn't been the one dealing with customers. Frank is indeed not with the company anymore, or at least not that department. Adam is not as friendly or as fast to answer questions and concerns. I was dealing with dragon when the personnel shift happened, and I can say I was very disappointed to see frank gone. Adam however does make right anything that may be a problem, and is a nice guy too, but I don't think ill be ordering any dragon lasers any time soon again.
