I cannot even imagine how ugly can someones personality be to write THAT to someone!!
Is that how someone does business?
For crying out loud, how on earth did this guy even start the DarkLasers 'shop' and is running it today (kind of running it) ??!!
I do not know what could possibly possess a person to write something like that, to anybody, especially if that someone is on largest laser-related forum on internet, and can post about that.
Is it safe to presume that even the opening sentence about "giving refund and sending a diode" is proporcional to surrounding context, and therefore, thick-layer-of-BS?

There is a very simple test to know whether Tyler (or any drug addict) is lying.
Simply ask yourself this question . . . .
Is he writing, typing, or talking?
If the answer to that question is, "Yes", then he is lying.
Occasionally not lying does NOT negate the hundreds of other lies. He is still lying.

I HATE thieves. Thieves that take advantage of the naivete of people (con men) are the worst kind. Plus, you might have noticed, I feel very protective of the forum and its honest members. This forum is an amazingly valuable source of friendship, help, products, and science. With over 8,000 members and a very active B/S/T board, the forum is a VERY tempting target for thieves.
Also, TJ and I were the "front men" in the effort to unmask his criminal behavior. This is all very well documented in the forum. I have been fairly active in repairing the trash he sold and had to spend some of my money to make a purchase so I could "prove" his deception to some others on the list. Like most drug addicts, he is a very good liar

May I ask what was needing repair in his lasers, specificaly? Sounds to me that he had hard time soldering.

It didn't cost me nearly as much as it cost some of the members here. I do not want to drag all that info up from the older threads just to re-post it here. Just search darklasers' build threads and my review threads.
Better yet, just never do business with him and warn others to avoid him

**EDIT** It apparently has dropped off the top 10 rep comments. I do not know how to read anything older than the top 10, so I cannot tell you if it was Tyler or not. Probably not. If anyone can tell me how to read older comments I can check, but for now . . . . < shrug >

Having re-read the OP, can I just say that if you bought a diode from anywhere pre-harvested, and you can't get it to work, very few stores will give you a refund, as they are very sensitive.
