Ive done some looking around and before I go ahead a buy some from Lighthound at 18.75 a piece, I was wondering if anyone knows
a cheaper place, or willing to sell me 3 or so of theirs.
Looking for AW 18650 Protected 2900 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery
Ill settle for 2600 mAh if decent deal.

:thanks:

My black protected 18650s and charger came from Lighthound Houston. Pricey, but top of the line and very fast shipper. I went to thier Pearland Tx store yesterday and asked about giving the forum a discount or maybe the possibility of a GB. They seemed very positive to these ideas and will get back to me on them. They sure have a nice selection of hosts(& batts) and were impressed by my briefcase full of lasers. They said they are grateful for those here that recommend Lighthound.

You an trust LarryDFW 100% to send you great batteries and very reasonable prices. I have some(& a few chargers)to sell too, but they are not protected cells. PM me for pricing.

If I remeber correctly this only indicates a low duration.

14500 will be smaller than an 18650. It's only reasonable that it will have less capacity.

AW tries whenever possible to label an estimate that is actually indicative of the real capacity of the cell, not just some made-up brand and number for capacity.

AW batteries, are very very well made, I've bought them at Overready.com, lighthound and in the CPF marketplace dealers corner. I'm a flashaholic (likes shiny things) AW imr 18650 are what I use in my flashlights. There not protected but I can pull 5.6 amps due to the lack of a protective circuit ant the batteries are $9 a peace.

On the marketplace the shipping might be a little cheaper than lighthounds $5-10 I think

Yup Im just about to order some from overready. IMO i prefer the unprotected due to the electronics failing under high draw, power surges etc...
