I have been trying to figure out which one to get. They all seem nice and i heard that they are all up to spec. If anyone has bought one from there, and they liked it, feel free to tell me how it worked out for you.

On a side note, I have tried contacting them several times, and have gotten no response... Not sure why:thinking:

Try PMing Max on here.

So far their lasers are pretty good... I've gotten 5 in all from him, and I'm happy.

Aside from one - which I know going into it - they have all been up to spec or even overspec. I consider +/- 10% to be "spec".

I just got my second Mini Arctic and I must say... I LOVE the host. Get the deluxe 1W version with the pattern tips... you won't regret it.

I don't have a paypal.. I don't really like to buy things used.. I would prefer to get it from the company itself. Thanks otherwise for the info.

Lol, wasn't really offering to sell any of those yet:na:

You can use debit or credit for checkout, although it still goes through paypal checkout.

I'm adding a 3 minute LPM chart/data to the review I did on the original arctic mini right now.

What is the 1W capable of doing? Was the beam nice? Does it burn well?

It's a 1W 445nm laser... capable of doing what 1W lasers do.... there are a hundred videos of 1W laser out there.

Beam quality is also standard, I don't see anything good or bad about it...

It does burn... I accidently left a burn spot on my desk when playing with it just now.

What do you think the brightness would compare to... well lets say a 200mw 532nm?

I too am looking here. Very reasonable prices from what I see.
The LZSK532-300 532nm 300mW Green laser has really caught my eye. (yeah, I know) :horse:

I'm jumping in for the advice ride as I am seriously ready to own!

Don't have that specific one, although I have two identical looking lasers from o-like. (Both peak over 500mW:eg: although one has ~90mW of IR. Going to post the weaker one up for $250.)

Personally I like the host a lot. I'm not sure if it is waterproof, but I can attest to the fact that it is weatherproof.

The cons are, you really should use high quality batteries with this laser. It uses a 2W pump diode, so it puts a lot of strain on the battery and depletes it fast.

Heat is also an issue with this model, I would stick to 1 minute or 90 second duty cycles.

I haven't seen any of these lasers from lazerer reviewed yet, but to be honest, I'm also very curious how they compare vs the o-like 400mW model.

With o-like that model has been very hit and miss. First one I got was almost DOA and very underspec, so I had to send it back (~$50 in shipping lost and took two months).

Also there is no telling how much of the 300mW is IR. It can be a lot, or it can be very little. If you do get this laser I would recommend asking Max to test the laser with with and without IR - it's worth the extra $2 or whatever.

They can also probably install an IR filter for you. If you plan to burn with the laser, that's a must. Either that or you need green and ir blocking goggles.
