He did accept PayPal's contract, he will be liable when he gets a job, you heard him say he could get work, before he said he could only build lasers after work, maybe he quit work to avoid garnishments, but paypal can get a judgement and his wages will be garnished, it's in their interest to discourage theft.

If that happens, how does that work for us? Do we get our money back immediately via Paypal's buyer protection, or are we kept waiting till he has a job?

I feel a <very> small bit of sympathy for Eitan. I'm just barely willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and chalk this up to stupid rather than criminal intent. I almost went down that road myself. I almost opened up a web store to sell my LED lights but it became obvious very quickly that I was getting too many orders to fill just on word of mouth with no advertising or web presence. If I had opened up that web store I might very well be in the spot Eitan is in now. Instead, I was honest with my customers. I told them there would be a delay in fulfilling their orders. Now, after ten years of building lights and not accepting any order I couldn't fill on a time schedule mutually agreeable to all involved I have no mortgage, car payments or any other credit dilemmas. My wife and I are going to purchase some lakefront property in Washington this weekend.

Lessons: 1.) Be honest with your customers especially when you know they won't be happy with what you have to say.
2.) Never spend your customer's money before you ship the product.
3.) Don't get greedy and take the attitude of accepting any and all orders and figuring out how to fulfill them later.

No Eithan got mad when he got called out, he would still be doing it if he could be, he turned to threats because he was angry, he is either delusional and in complete denial or a liar and a thief.

Well he is a liar and a thief, but did he feel trapped ? HOW when he is living in his patents house, how much customers money got spent on video games, no, I don't think he got caught up, he said he has to live, but I heard him talking to young siblings in his videos, that's his parents house, he took the money, he chose to take the money, he said after 180 days he had to, it was piling up...read between the lines, he still has money on hand yet he cries poor and ask for people not to file, NOW WHY WOULD HE CARE ABOUT THAT? That means there is frozen money in pay pal and he wants it.

Heck he is not even working. This is straight out fraud, he gave the same fake tracking numbers to multiple people, he deceived and manipulated. What he did was criminal.

Please go back and read his long winded bs apology, I have it captured, he said after 180 days he had to take money out, that means it was piling up from un filled orders. But he kept taking it, I bet there is frozen money in pay pal right now, he can't touch it.

Buddy? You must be joking.

You took money, you sent fake tracking numbers, you didn't send out the products you accepted money for, and you used funds from new orders to cover old orders.

That is an almost textbook definition of a ponzi scheme. So whether you set out to do it or not, as of this time you are a scammer.

If you want to earn back any good will and reputation you must find a way to refund people, or fill their orders, though let's me honest, who's gonna want to risk waiting even longer?

***TO ANYONE READING THIS - DO NOT CANCEL YOUR DISPUTES, ONCE YOU DO, YOU CAN'T RE-OPEN THEM.***

He did just say that his paypal account is locked up due to the claims and that he is willing to get everyone their money back. When the claim deadlines come and go, that will happen. When all the claims are done being processed, he will have the funds available again to process orders or pay back those who haven't filed claims. It's just a matter of time now.

And Paul there is a big difference between the United States Senate And your local congressman.

Yes, there is. But, I said a congressman, which a US senator is. He is in congress. He is a congressman. And if you think a friend in the US senate is going to make a difference here, you will be disappointed. I've also dealt with PayPal quite a lot, and I promise you they won't be sending anyone to jail either. I'm not familiar with Israeli law, but it might not even be possible to garnish his wages there.

So if you want to be sure to get yours then file a claim and be in line, Right?

That seems to be the case. If he can't touch what's in his account to refund you, then you'd have to wait for Paypal to do it. I think that's what he was trying to relay. As for business, he can't do any until this is all resolved. But once all claims are processed, then business could resume.

Look at it logically, others have filed, so what ever drama that may or may not bring is already going to happen, so do you want your name on the list for a refund, or do you want to trust a joker who has lied and manipulated?

Wise choice!

Anyone know if the forum is set up so you can block users? I know bb has the functionality, but I can't tell if it's enabled on this board.

Just got another PM from the same user... I'd put my money on it being VG, but could be some other troll. People have too much free time clearly.
