I am still skeptical. I won't believe what they say it is until it's in my hands! Until then I just have to hope it's not just a total piece of shit!:toilet:

It doen't look like a boblaser!

I have not heard anything good about boblaser, and they don't have a 445nm 1w laser.

You should tell the OP that..lol.. I never said it was..!
I said IF IT IS, a boblaser , than it will be great quality.

Have you done any research on BobLaser?
I have, check my review thread. (300mw boblaser:actually 378mw!)

most of their lasers have more power than they are rated at! for starters.
great design and super strong, and pretty much shock proof.

I also posted a LPM test video for the un-believers.
and pictures.

Consider yourself lucky. We've had dozens, and dozens of lasers bought from Boblasers, and the majority was junk quality, under-spec units. Ask anyone here and they will tell you the same thing. Think of it this way. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Doesnt mean its not a POS.

Sorry but one good unit means nothing.

I am not pissed off or anything after reading posts from LPF even before I joined, I respect members opinions. I figure since they have had expierence with a company being mostly bad, I didn't want anything to do with that company.

The LVYI deal, nobody has had any dealings with so after the WL fiasco I figured what the hell I would take a chance. I hope that we get lucky like you did with BOBLASER. You just never know what you'll get it's a crap shoot!

This reeks of a rather unfixable scam. The seller ships a box to a random address in a city, usually yours but it may work with other cities, and then if you try and file a paypal dispute, they have a proof of delivery and that's all paypal cares about. I sincerely hope it isn't that, but it very well may be....

At this point, I'd bet you're right. Looks like they've done their homework; going to be quite a fight to get that money back.

That's what worries me! It might be but I hope not!

Not really. If it's in an entirely different city than your confirmed paypal shipping address, Paypal should still handle it. Especially if there's a tracking number showing it didn't go where it was supposed to.

But yes, since both Jerry's and 00Giorge's tracking both have wrong cities listed, it reeks more and more of scam.

Or it has been handed over to USPS for final delivery in the States, and the HK company cannot track it any further.

I could be mistaken, but if memory serves me correctly all they would have to to "produce" an email requesting the item be shipped to an unconfirmed address and proof of delivery to that address and they are safe.

PayPal may have change their rules; been quite a while since I dug into this.

That could be, but mine is through AAE and they have offices all across the country but not in Salt Lake.

Did you ever get that sinking feeling?:horse:

I pmed Jerry to see what his doing but haven't heard anything yet.

Well if they are doing that... and paypal won't do anything about it. Retribution can still be had, even though you won't get your money back.

Just inform paypal that the place is selling lasers... which is against paypal's current policies.

They'll get their account frozen etc.

Being a chinese company they'll probably just reform under another name to get around it, but at least it'll be possible to cause them some hassle.

And the delivery thing is easy to test. If the USPS has it. The tracking number will be in their system. Just track it on USPS's site.

I hate to say it, but it smells like a potential scam. I was just giving You a logical reason why that message could show in a tracking status. I hope things are ok and the Lasers get delivered!
