I fired up my diode today in a temporary lab housing just to finally see it ... and ... WOW!!!!!
SpecTACULAR!!!
I do not have a multimode ~445 to compare to, just my SM ~450, but WOW. It made the SM look PURPLE! I am buying an M140 RIGHT NOW just to have the two side-by-side. This is remarkable. I cannot wait to place this is a permanent host
Honestly reminded me of 473. Just wish I had a 473 to compare it to ... That will change Tuesday

It still amazes me the way it makes a 445 look purple.
Another member explained it to me but I still find it amazing.
