i just finished my smaller blue laser in my collection as all my blues are generally big. the host is 1x18650 battery, i used a boost driver and everything works nice, the divergence is acceptable on this multimode diode even with a G2 lens.
also i just got my new phone(oneplus 3) and i was testing how the camera picks the beamshots :) (it looks abit higher wavelengh on the photos but its actually deeper blue

Nice, I thought about knife edging several of them, they are priced right and have a little better divergence than the m-140.

Very nice little build, Chris. It does look higher in wavelength than 450nm.

Agreed, very nice build Chris.
What are the laser laws like in Greece?
Here in Australia you're allowed to play with 7W in public and close to the airport.... hahahaha, just kidding.
Here, we are only allowed 1mW. :cryyy:

the laser is definetly a 445nm wavelengh maybe a tone higher but the camera picks it like this(maybe i can make some adjustments with the settings)

i am not really sure but from what i know its just the general european law about 5mw max,i don't really use my lasers in front of others, mostly using them indoor and late at night for nice beamshots :D

Nice build! +rep
Enjoy your build, don’t be like me, I always disassemble lasers I have built and they turn to crap:D
