Yes, and those WLs have been in pointers for years. This is not a WL one would normally see in a presentation pointer. Seems more like a scientific WL used for spectroscopy or similar functions.

Well it's kind of like the 561 craze a few years back, 561 was mainly for medical purposes and some members here went ahead and asked CNI for some custom made pointers and CNI ended up making some for them. Come to today, and CNI even offers some 561 modules you can buy from them
577 may be similar if we have enough purchases!

We have been putting unusual WL in pointers for a while now so it won't hurt to see 577nm in pointer as well. I'm pretty excited to see how this turns out.

Quite true. The 561's started with RHD and aryntha asking for 556 but CNI settling for 561. Then a few other members (myself included) bugged CNI for 561's, and they made them. But they weren't quite 4-digit figures. Unless you needed to buy via 3rd party because you wanted certain safety features removed.

^Yes. I actually just spoke to CNI regarding their GLP modules (1-5mW 561nm) and they quoted me $480. When I said this was quite expensive, they brought it down to $380 IIRC. Still quite expensive for just the module, but if you guys want 561 it's still very available

You could always send a request to Robinson at Techhood, Newgazer, or Existotem as they are all the same company and ask if they have another one you could purchase. If I wanted one badly, that is what I would do. I could have had one back a few days ago when the link first appeared.

MAN i said before this has been a great year for diodes and now i cant keep up,
It takes days to make a custom host when u have a job, i just finished the 473 ive got a 594 host im working on then what to put the 505 in, and another 2 -477,s please slow down guys.
