from Wicked Lasers? We're not too fond of them around here for a bunch of reasons.
There are better options for better prices with better customer service. As far as I know there's also a good chance that anything direct from WL will be seized by US customs - I actually thought they stopped shipping to the US.
Would probably have been better to ask for opinions before you ordered it.

Yeah, they have stopped shipping to the US. I live in the UK.
I ordered it because I've really wanted one for a few years and I've never had the cash. I'm 16, and I've never owned anything over 5mw.

they did stop shipping to US, but OP didnt state location. was just on their site for the first time, the krypton greens now use 520 diodes but do you think that means they might lower the price since 900mW of 520 is much easier than 900mW of 532? hell no, still a grand, lol
still claiming "world strongest" and "continuous duty cycle" I see. wonder how they justify that to themselves. 3.5W continuous duty cycle with no active cooling? yeah right

Should maybe have started with something less powerful, like 100mW. 1W is a lot of power if you've never used it before. Just make sure you stay safe!

Oh yeah, definitely. I know all the safety shit such as don't point at aircraft, animals ect.
I would've started with a 100mw but I couldn't resist buying the Arctic as I have wanted one for a while

I think he is referring to the safety glasses and whether or not you have them. I could be wrong.
Also, shouldn't use bad language on here. I swear like a sailor outside of these forums but keep it off of here.

I will use the word "please" ok. You didn't mention being careful with reflective surfaces. rt58 i'm someone of a noob myself so please no offense.
