Hi members,
I want to share with you photos of my build. The most interesting part was that I had to solve some problems before laser went to work :whistle:
I forgot to buy blank battery contact board, so I made myself a new one from old flashlight.
Also sorry for heavy pictures, I'm on a tablet.

Then I somehow soldered contacts(that was kinda hard to hold the board and solder it).

Then some steps and laser was ready for his life :angel:

My iPhone 6S camera picks it up as violet, idk why.

Now it's time to sleep. I'm pretty satisfied with my first assembly like that. I'd love to make it happen again in the near future :beer:

Your images aren't working, not sure what you're doing... looks like the image host isn't agreeing with being embedded? Direct link works. Seems to load them in the post if I open them manually by copying the link.

Edit: checked the images manually, looks like a nice build! :)

Nice first attempt. Your photos make it look more like 405nm than 465nm. What kind of camera are you using? Thank you for sharing it with us. :D

Nexgen, glad to see everything worked out ok, and that you posted these pics of your first build. :beer:
You only get one "first build", you've got to show it off! :cool:

One thing you may want to do though, is to re-size your pics to a max size of 800 wide.

Hi,
Great job on your 1st build nice, you said it was hard holding the contact board to solder. You need to get a set of helping hands for electronic work, there cheap and they come with a magnifier . If you don't you will need some burn cream they get hot when soldering the wires on or the brass ring. Oh nice adaptation to find a contact board in another light to use smart thinking buddy.

Perhaps the user here this will have to maler , but covering better the construction , it all seems to be but a "before" construction, I see it too precise , I with the few that I have made are visible to all as they are ! inaccurate, blocked with hot glue etc etc...! I'm sorry, eh Nexgen nothing personal , but I only say what I think ! no hard feelings !!!!!

Pretty sweet laser. I have been wanting to get a 20mm module from DTR for a while now but I always seem to order the 12mm lol. Maybe eventually I will, but very nice
