I don't know if Gray really wants me to blab about it, but I think he sent me a jewel here. We did some back and forth through email and talked about various things. He never said he would actually modify the standard "465nm" he builds but I think he may have put a little more sauce into this one.. Anyway, I don't have an LPM to find out for sure, but this baby is lovely! It's like a rich, velvety helping of juicy, delicious, lightning blue goodness. Maybe 470nm! This one is actually as bright as my 1watt 520nm.. Anyway, I just wanted to share. I'm in laser heaven right now... my wife is out of town and I'm giving the night sky and trees hell right now

Hmm.. Actually, I have older Ple pros with the same "rope" attachment. They are holding up well.. But I mostly I put my forearm through the loop and tighten just enough to catch it if I happened to drop it. But.. It's pretty indestructible.. Looks really nice how it's woven together.

Yes indeed! Haven't used mine yet so I was curious as to how well they hold the PL-E's, thanks!

Hypothetically, I feel the connection is robust enough to where you could literally twirl the fully batteried laser holding the end of the loop and it wouldn't come off imo

Yes indeed I do have the 10X beam expander.. At night with it screwed on it looks like you can make a little point at distance on things so far away that I really can't see it without binoculars.. I'm pretty sure that I could easily light up clouds with this thing but alas, I'm a chicken! Too much air traffic though here

Hi Chris,
The reason i ask was if you can put a G2 lens in it and focus it at a long distance then focus the expander , mine burns with the same diode in a Sinner Cypreus 2 host at 40 ft.it burns through a t shirt in 3 seconds. Those things are awesome talk about power WOW...

That's really the only downside with these Ple Pros is that I have no clue as to how you could get into it to change a lens or anything for that matter even if you really wanted to or needed to. It's as if the whole thing is hermetically sealed. I can't even see how they put it together. Lol! But I did mention him putting a G7 lens in it.. So, for all l know it has one in there

Hi That G7 is fine it will do the trick if you can focus it first before the expander ..

Congrats. Seems like I've seen quite a few Ple lately. If you have a 462nm compare the colors as a pushed 465nm will look a lot lighter.

Here it is indoors in the evening. It is SUPER bright. However, its much lighter blue in person. In fact it's really light blue, almost like aqua or turquoise.. The old cliche' still holds true.. "the camera doesn't do it justice" :) And this is pointed at something that's totally black!

Bet it looks more like this pic showing the difference between a 462nm (464nm from what DTR showed) and a pushed 465nm which should be around the 470nm mark. BIG difference especially considering the 462/4 will look much more light blue compared to a 450nm. Difference between a 450nm and a 470nm is HUGE.

The one on the left is more what mine looks like in person.. Mine may be just a slight tad less than that.. I think mine may be more like 467nm lol! Gray assured me that he uses the "only 465nm diode available" implying that this is the Nubm07e and not the 462nm diode which is different diode altogether.. Not just an under powered 465nm. The pic I took was with an IPhone 6SPlus that's in a phone case with lens protector.. The settings are the default settings for this phone. I'm gonna take another picture either with this same camera but optimized or another camera that's more able to deal with the high intensity of this wavelength and contrast, etc

Ok.. Here's a redo of the same laser but with my Sony 20megapixal digital camera.. This is more accurate as far as the color is concerned:

Indoors, same deal, but with flash:

And without flash:

For comparison in relative brightness, here's my 1200mw 520nm. Same Sony camera and same time of day

520nm with flash:

I like this photo, if you didn't know what you're looking at it looks like you have a huge laser cannon on the floor in your house. :kewlpics::gj:
