um its kinda hard to make the same thread a few times by accident without knowing.
now do u know you will not be able to see the ir?
i believe it is a multimode diode so it will be hard to focus to be able to burn.

and dont spam the forums. and lastly, if this is your first build dont build an IR laser it means infa red. invisable. and you might get hit in the eye and be blinded instantly without knowing what hit you.
if you live in australia or its hard to get some parts build this tterbo driver.

tterbo i know i cant see it i just want to build it and i still dont know what part i need im making a portable laser so i need teh driver for it so plz give me a link thanks

You should probably try searching before demanding people give you a link. I'm sure the info needed is out there. YOU just need to do the work to find it.

read them one tells you about lasers thhe otherone tells you how to make the driver.

will that EXACT circuit work for a 1W IR laser diode? or will some resistors need changing, or a different voltage regulator.

rais the output cap and change the 4 ohm to 10 ohm( i do this anyway) and use a 200ohm pot.
i believe this will work. any questions contact Himnl9 via pm he is the ultimate smart driver person. and will happily answer your questions. as long as you have tried to get the answer yourself and its not a noob question like. how do i make a laser.

just test the output with a load and change the pot accordingly. with a load.
