Hello

I've found (on polish 'ebay') a blue module from laserworld 4000rgb, seller uploaded a video of testing this module.
He used some CRAZY voltage (8.8v and 2A) and the laser didnt fail. He claims that this is 1.5w module but at this barbaric voltage 1.5w blue would instantly fizzle, i think it may be well over 3w, could you watch and tell if my assumption was correct?

You can really know the mW of the laser just by looking at it. You would need a LPM to know the mW of the laser. BTW, a 1.5w laser dioderunning at 2A should not hit more than 2w

Yeah but that voltage tho.

Maybe there are 2 diodes and beamsplitter cube inside?

So how much should I offer him for a bare module like that without driver? 60$ would be fair?

No LPM, no way of knowing lol there are tons of members here (trusted) that will happily check the power for ya. Just pay shipping. That easy :)

Laserworld is well known for misquoting/inflating their power ratings. Expect at most HALF of what they quote.
