Hello,
I want to buy a blue laser from Dl.
I searched on their page and have seen that a spartan bp 40mw is 799$. The aurora bp 15mw i think is 799$ too. Why is the aurora more expensive then the spartan? Are there any differences? Does someone have experience with one of them?

The beam is tighter on the Aurora series. I'd personally go with the cheaper one as you're really not going to notice little stuff like that. Also note that the beams for both blue pointers is a pules beam, not a continuous one, also something you won't notice but you should know.

I have a Spartan BP20, back then the prices were higher and it cost me $799 like the 40mW they now offer...

It's a very nice laser, I like it a lot.
The beam is indeed not ideal in the Spartan BP, and the mode sometime hops to TEM01, but it really isn't noticeable unless you look for it.

As for being a pulsed laser, you will notice it easily if you move the laser dot fast, you will see something like this (I actually think it's pretty nice):

All solid state lasers are exactly the same wavelength. I think that the aurora BP is a CNI, and the same as the Laserglow units, so they are top quality. You can't really go wrong with either the spartan or aurora, but if you prefer the pen style then you should get it from Scopeguy20. He's doing a group buy from CNI, and you can get great prices if you buy through him.
