i don't think anyone here has them, plus you can get an already made 20mW blue labby for about $10 more

I don't know anyone who's taken that gamble yet, and I can't say I'm surprised. With a company like DX where the best way to guess the truth is to believe the opposite of what they say, it'd be hard for any sane person to shell out $700.

Fortunately I'm not sane and have a huge amount of money ;)
My 473nm source must be very compact which is why a lab unit is no good. I'll buy one and report back. It says the 30mW unit is in stock and ready to fly while most of the others are not so 30mW it is.

doooo it. I'm really curious about them. Do you have a power meter to test it on?

Bought one, its ready to ship, should have it in a week all going well. I bought the 30mW silver one. I'll post back in this section with photos and details etc...

I really dont think its going to be a horribly crappy laser. Everything from DX isn't inherently crappy, it just depends on the manufacturer. Your lab has a power meter, right? I suspect these lasers may perform up to spec, at least for a little while.
