From what I've heard, their products are on spec. I'd rather go with DLs 20mw for $300 though.

DL has been really crappy so far, everything underspec and all. I wouldn't buy from them, if I were you.

I would ask for an even higher output unit... except I already have one in 473nm ;)

I realized I had not metered it in a while, so I just did, and it hit a new peak 112 mW -Glenn

btw, it's a WL S3

I can't help but think that you might be better off paying an extra $65 and getting the PGL-III-C-473nm-10mW from Glenn's GB.

I know $65 is still a lot of money, but when you're already paying $300, my instinct would be to hold off until I could justify $365, in order to get CNI quality (and a one-year warranty IIRC) instead of random-China goods.

Though I would really like to know who is manufacturing these!

I didnt know there was one for only $65 more avaliable. Last I remember looking into 473nm prices I thought they were a lot higher. Oh well its interesting none the less and its cool that the chinese companies are starting to come out with more exotic wavelengths. Maybe one day we will have a $10 473nm newwish :D

...maybe

no no like you said there is a CNI unit for only $65 more. I was thinking when I found this that its was hundreds of dollars less than CNI units but I guess im not up to date on the prices.
