Cheap 904/905nm laser

Hey guys. I am looking for a cheap 904/905nm to mess with people with.

You may ask why would you use a ir laser to mess with people? Well I drive 1200 highway miles a week and I always use a v1 radar detector. It's sensitive enough where cheaper "cobra" and off brand radar detectors will it off. A lot of others on the radar message board have the same issue and typically either will use a laser range finder or sport radar gun until the driver with the cobra gets annoyed and turns it off both of those options are in the neighborhood Of >$100

I found some 905nm ir emitters on digikey but at $34 a piece that was a little to much. So I was hoping you guys knew of another source for 904/905nm ir emitters/diodes/lasers. :thanks:

Keep in mind I am just looking for something weak. Nothing dangerous. >20mw?

Yeah that is the wrong wavelength for what I am doing. I am looking for something 850-920nm since that is the typical laser speed gun. Thanks though

That low of wattage is pretty tame to what people have on their cars for laser counter measures.

Some people will mount "laser interceptors" on their cars that operate at 115 watts (puled) of laser. Laser Interceptor - The Ultimate Laser Jammer - Product Info.

Because of this I don't have an issue with a low wattage unfocused invisible beam to set off a few radar detectors here and there.
