MY FIRST IMPRESSION. WOW, THAT'S BLUE.
To be fair Nprlaser posted his thread first but we both have different angles.
I put this diode and driver in a Mrcrouse V12 host. 2x 18650
Driver is set to 2.0A on an LPM I achieve a solid 2056mW.
Test out my new Dragon laser diffraction grating
from left to right The NDB7675 (2W), M140(1.9W) and my Argon=] (158mW)
^^shhh yes that cylinder should be chained
outdoors!
This is without a doubt my second favorite laser. (second to 1W 520) Its hard to tell from the pictures but it for sure much more blue then the M140 or the 9mm diode.
One thing worth noting is that it warms up quick even in that host with the driver heat sinked and a healthy amount of arctic silver 5.
if you plan to use this diode I would heat sink it well. I wish I could have it spec'ed im curious to see what the actually WL is @ 2.0A
According to rhd it would have a WL of 464nm
awesome laser! get one!
