I've been looking to get my own yellow laser for quite some time now so I am just going to make my own with a dichroic mirror, red diode, and green diode
You may find it unsatisfying. Personally, I find RGY to be nowhere near as impressive as true yellow.

I'm positive it's nothing like the real deal, I've got the diodes, Flexdrives, mounts and mirrors and from what I've seen so far it works but I need pure gold-yellow,
So does anyone have an Aurora or hopefully they get back to me and let me change to the spartan!

Well if it looks good or not im going to have a yellow laser thats over 500mW which is more than any other yellow dpss or diode

Might want to qualify that statement.
There's 88W of 589nm.

I've seen this, it's 20w and the more powerfull laser is in the centre not shown at this moment with a huge expander yes!

Too cool ya'll. Guys the pump diode must be crazy powerful! Please notice on the second picture that the beam is probably not that visible, just long time exposure causes it to look that way similar to the milky way.

I have a Aurora and it definitely overspec. Haven't LPM'd it, but it is probably putting out around 15-20mW on average, but can spike to around 25mW enough for a beam to visible in dark conditions. Depending on the usage, the battery will last a little while. But if you can, get yourself a rechargeable CR2, so you don't have to keep buying new batteries as CR2's are not the cheapest. Temperature and battery condition can lead to occasional mode hopping from TEM01 to TEM00. The laser also operates in a pulsed mode, rather than CW. You don't notice the pulsed operation until you wave it around a little. Now, for the wavelength. It is amazing. In light conditions, it appears near yellow. In dark conditions it will appear a dark golden yellow. Also check the colour difference when you place a 532 or 650 next to it. Overall, it makes a very nice addition to my laser collection even though I own a Spartan as well. You will enjoy it.

I thought u had one awesome, silly time to purchase during china new year, but it was either that or Haps 593, So since u seam to be the only one that has one, do u have a review of it, can you do a review, or can you post many pics please,
If DL don't get back to me it's gonna be the Aurora but if they respond I'll send them the difference for the spartan 30mw

The most I have on this laser on here is in my member collection thread. I have two images and a short description with some specs. But not much. You can also see my Spartan there, with its amazing sodium beam. The Aurora is just a fainter version.

badboybilly, do be aware that the Aurora's, while good looking have about half the duty cycle of the Spartan host. I don't know if that matters much to you but that means less time to enjoy the pretty photons!
Also, 589nm would be slightly more stable in a Spartan host compared to an Aurora host :yh:
