:) I haven't even touched it yet. I wanna fire it up, but that will be a long time from now, have to stay over here and earn more money to get that apartment in Odessa, Ukraine finished.

You could always send it to me for safe keeping in the meantime.

I am half inclined to do that, tell you the truth, but it's my new baby.

Lol, I bet you would Diachi. :D
Let me setup a laser fostering service.
If you're application is successful, I will come round and inspect your place to see if it is suitable, if not you risk losing any other lasers in your current care. :eg:
The checklist will include:
Appropriate laser goggles
Appropriate living requirements. (No damp and dirty room conditions)
No potential dangers.

Good luck!

OK, wife took more photo's for me, those three "lenses" between the dichroic mirrors appear to actually be wave plates.

Yes sir, you got that right. I just don't know why they needed them yet.

I don't understand why their is so many. I wonder if some of the seperators are polarisation dependent. I don't really know why yet.

There is a witness mark for polarity on one of them, probably all of them, so I cannot imagine what else they would be.

For what it is worth, adding an updated photo of the whole assembly. I don't like hopping between pages to see it when wanting to look at it.

Edit: Removed waveplate text and replaced with beam alignment window

I just love all the optics and mounts included in this package. I'm sure you will be able to find a use for each and every piece. The optics could be mounted on a steel optical bench to do all sorts of experimenting. If I had it, it would be my new baby, too. Yeah, those "lenses" definitely look like wave plates.

I don't know, maybe just keep it as it is as a bench laser. I have another YAG and 1122 nm pass filter which came out of one of these models to make 561nm, as well as a LBO NL crystal AR coated for 1122 and 561 nm. Might just use those to make the 561nm pointer I want and leave this alone, except to make light :)

Oh yes, I would want to see it lase in place as is 1st, there must be a reason they used so much real estate when it was built.

The longer the run she shallower the angle for the size of the parts, it may need that much space to combine those at the angle they wanted.

I agree, it will remain intact as my bench toy :) Yep, fairly large, but with three YAG driven KTP crystals in L fold configuration inside, it isn't really using that much area.

Do you by any chance have any higher quality images of the resonator scheme and optical schematic?
