Well after a lucky bid on ebay i won a 50mW 473nm laser head and driver for £10 , the driver has suposedly failed and stoped working just after it emitted some of the magic smoke components love to emit .
The seller ended up cutting of the 9 pin D plug trying to fix the unit so i have no idea on pin out .
There are 5 sets of 2 cables , 2 thermisters , 2 tecs and 1 diode , easy to tell whats , what . Good thing is i located diode cables and using a LM regulator and psu ran the diode at 1.5 Amps and i get blue photons so the head is fine .
I did take off the cover and the laser is inside a plastic box with what looks like the OC on the end then the collamintor on the outside . I'll update thread as i make progress and post the amazing 473nm photons pictures
For £10 though im happy just need to toubbleshoot/fix driver and then work pin outs and i should have 50mW 473nm
