I was hoping to use them without heatsink.

This will effectively make each hosts burn a hole of $3+$23 in my wallet

you can use washers. i have done that many times with this host

What would the diameter of the washer (inner diameter of the cap) be? nm. found it on the first page

Zom B yo have to get Jayrob to make you a heatsink or Darkhorse. But like Josh said, you can use washers.
The silver ones are not the same as the X-streem host, its simiar but has less parts which is not that good. but ok i guess. Its identicle to the PocketPal host JayRob uses for his build.

Lol I exactly found one washer that fits, and it's even aluminum. I guess I'll have to start hunting for others.

Hmm I'll take the yellow then, and the green and the blue host (not the purple), the calipers and the red tripod. What's the grand total?

I've received it. The calipers had a dead battery but came with two fresh ones. It feels like it needs to be greased. The flashlights also work great and one even came with batteries, though I don't know if that was intentional.

and the tr pod?? lol the battery was just to make sure it works lol

well the caliper hasnt been used before, so the battery in it must of worn out, but yeah there are 2 fresh ones in there. theres an adjustment on top, unscrew it to lightn the movement, cause you can tighten it, ot losen it. glad you got it though. :)
