Yes, I agree with you Gerald...I don't like the Hercules because it is too big. I prefer the one that output that much power, using 18650 rechargeables or 2 CR123 or 2 RCR123 (Rechargeables CR123). It will be a lot better in dimension, and more pleasing to the eyes...

did you check out the rpl. somewhere between a spyder and a herc. in fact i'm going to retool the "heasink" of my rpl since most of it is air and just make it a slim laser like a spyder rather than a big head. i've got a lathe and some aluminium stock and the ability to anodize so it won't be a big deal.

that said i thin the new spyders look good but they were step back from he gen 1 spyders. if you had 3 gen1 spyders i'd buy them. the spyder2's seem flayky and out of spec, even the very lax spec thay sold with. i've yet to hear of a spyder2 making 300mw, most BARELY make 200mw. the $120 dx200 can do that on a good day, and the rpl can make 350 on a ful charge for several minutes.

What would you offer on a gen 1 Spyder ;). I've got my RPL-300, Gen 1 Spyder and 2x Gen 2 Spyders I would sell if the right offer came along :D

Also - Gerald...Timelord is in the UK, so any potential buyers across the pond could most likely use him (if he's okay with it) as a middle man, and power testing, as well. If your potential buyers are in the US, I would be willing to test the laser(s) and act as a middleman - as I am certain most that own a power meter would as well.

Hi Gerald, I think it's not because of they doubt you, but it is just because for the power level of Spyder (around 200mW, no guarantee), there is still a lot of option out there that can guarantee same power level for less. Sorry to say this, I don't mean to bash you or this thread at all...

Honestly, it may not be. If someone was already looking to get a Spyder, maybe. However most of us have seen these Spyder II Gx lasers sell for $800 and less on eBay. The last I saw was <$700.

I would even be willing to sell one of my Spyder II GX lasers for less than the $1044 youre asking.

And considering how you got them, I'm sure you didn't pay that much for them either. So while I know its a big discount off the WL price, its not a big surprise you aren't getting any business after just a few days. Perhaps you should try listing them on eBay with a 1044 starting and see if anyone goes for the deal sometime.

pseudo I am willing to sell the spyders at any price so as long as it is a reasonable offer. They are all fully up to specifications as they all can burn paper I just tested it last night.

Just name a price for the Spyder II GX, if it is reasonable, you have it.

Gerald, I don't think hatred of LC forum prevent this laser to be sold. Like what pseudonomen137 says, it is the price :)
What is the price you think is a reasonable offer? I have write a long reply pm to you regarding the price range. Do you think it is reasonable? You may have better luck if you sell it on Ebay with low starting price. Good luck on your sale...
