In short, I'm interested in DPSS supplies.

To elaborate, here's my laundry list:

Nd:YAG rod
- Doesn't need to be large or crazy big. Enough for a couple hundred mW of 532 post KTP.

LBO or BBO
- I've got blue work in mind as well.

Mirrors
- Mirrors coated HR@ any known Nd gains line and also HT@ 808nm. Not really looking to jump into any untraditional cavities yet, so no need for HR@808nm.

Mounting mechanics
- Mounting these crystals will be a real pain in the arse. Working with a gentleman from PL to get some resin mounts made that will effectively sandwich the xtal between a 3/4 circle and a 1/4th circle and 4 set screws. This will give me the ability to manipulate the xtal's X and Y axis at its true center of gravity. Difficult to describe without pictures, meh...

- Either way. If you have anything that has or can mount crystals, I will hear you out!

Diodes
- I am in need of some new 808nm diodes. C-Mount or can, either works. 2W or more.

Optics
- Collimating for the diode is important.

At the end of the day, if it has been, or could be used in a solid state or DPSS setup, I am interested in hearing you out for a possible sale.

Either post here or PM me. I'm actually lurking here a lot not regularly now, I just don't post a lot. Mornings and afternoons I am around.

Thank you for your time!

I sent you a PM about a bunch of quasi continuous wave stuff. Also, I have some really high OD glasses, something like OD 13 @ 1064nm. If interested, LMK.

This is driving me crazy...two years ago, I was given an AMAZING source for optics. I mean man...did they have it all or what...

HR@976, HR@1123, HR@1112, HR@1319, so much stuff. Most of them were $40-80 a mirror too. Considering an optic like that would set you back $600+ typically; this was a good find.

Can't find it anymore. I only know of one other person who might remember.

PS - Jeff. Drop those pics you took of SELEM! I had some good Facebook profile picture material in there. You were all over the club on Saturday night as far as I can remember.... *ahem*

PPS - I'm also getting to the bottom of this whole "engagement" rumor that Zach brought up.

Sadly, no. The company name had "red" in the name if I'm not mistaken. They were out of Russia I believe. Red and Russia in one name...suspect, I know, but they had some decent product.

*Eksma

Though coating number 1144-i0 is >99% HR@1100-1400. I'd like to get a graph of this, but it's still 105€

Ahh yes, Eksma, always get the "s" and the "k" the wrong way around.

Not sure of the one you mentioned - probably heard of it somewhere but can't remember.

That's not a terrible price - especially given the current exchange rate. Still not as good as one would like though! :p

If I can get graphs of them, I wouldn't mind them. Put a pretty penny into a matching pair, and that's all I need for almost anything above SHG@1064.

Better than Newport prices, and Edmund only has them in the standard 266, 355, 532, 808, 1064nm coatings. Nothing even minimally out the ordinary.

This one would have..say, 976nm for a direct diode doubling to 488nm in w ring cavity setup. They had mirrors with like 97.5, 98, 99, 99,8%, etc, etc. Some with different sizes, all kinds of stuff. Their selection of 532/1064 mirrors was astronomical. Different passing amounts of 532/808, depending on if you had an intra-cavity LBO as well to produce a seed-line or something in a pulse getup. Or if you wanted some 532 to exit the cavity as a visible guide laser to help align the UV. Or if you wanted HR@808nm for a non-linear cavity of some sort, so it wouldn't end catastrophically by sending all of the light straight back into the diode.

Anything. Any. Thing. They had it. I just need to find them again...

If you still have my number or my skype I'd like to have a nice chat with you again. I still think I have a nice Nd:YAP and some other stuff... As well as some pump diodes. If you're going for green first, I'd start with a 1W pump, a short FL lens and a thin, perhaps 1-2mm Nd:YVO4 slice and a 5mm KTP. If they're all coated that should give you plenty of green. You don't need much to get a good amount of 1064. you can get in touch with me I'll see if I can help you design a starter cavity. :)

I got tons of parts from BW Tek 473nm labbys, including pump diodes, crystals, optics, and mounts. It's all packed in my car now as I'm about to move, but remind me at the end of the week if you are interested.

I will take you up on this. Maybe tomorrow or something. Cavity setup is just a matter of simple math once I know the RoC's involved.

Nd:XYZ centered on the focal point, get 1064nm, and KTP placement shortly after, then minor adjustment from there. Not sure if my KTPs are reflective or not, so that'll need to figured out. Though at 2x2x5mm or 3x3x5mm, they likely will be; that's a bit small for a cavity that'd require external mirrors.

Same applies to any other system, but mirror placement with matching RoC to focal point ratio.

Now it gets particularly fun when you add broadband mirrors and a prism..

Same goes to you! I'll definitely hit you up to see what you've got in stock.

You don't need much medium if everything is optimal and your pump is well formed. the typical CNI laser has a 2mm crystal, and others are maybe 5mm if the HR is seperate, like in my Ignis, which is an L-fold. KTPs are usually either 5 or 10mm long depending on their make (hydrothermal vs flux grown) and their cut. The catch is you'll need one cut for the wavelength in question, or else tilts and other things come into play to get good output. and you lose a lot of power often times if the coatings are wrong. AR coatings are a must on the KTP. typical good DPSS mirrors are about 100-250 bucks a piece new, or even more! output couplers are stupid expensive due to needing coatings on both surfaces. if you're just looking to do a simple linear cavity, you don't need much in the way of parts. your mounting methods are going to be the harder bit due to the degree of accuracy needed. I have a vanadate only 1mm thick at best, and I used to get over 150mW of green from it. If you want to get really fancy a Nd:GdYVO4 is quite good too, and I think I saw some on ebay recently, along with some green KTPs.

Let me know if you come across any good value crystal/optics as I have a 50w 808 that I want to use someday. Good luck with your DPSS quest.
