Can you guys pls recommend me a good laser, here's what I roughly want: for power not much under 1W - GREEN, for power from 1W - 2W - RED or BLUE, I want it to be a tough built and good design, nice parallel beam, ready to use and enduring.. Also with it I want suitable glasses, batteries and charger or if not at least tell me which ones I should order.. and please attach good pictures of the laser..

Please give me a suggestion of a laser or a guy who makes good lasers (or company), because I'm just a month in this area..

Thank you.

Well there are two very good things on this forum ......first there is the awesome thing called the review section where people post information about lasers that they bought. A little browsing there and your questions will be answered.
Secondly there is this way cool thing called search. You can even use google to search this site (check out the link in my signature) Searching will give you a lot of the answers to what you seek too.

If you've been on the forum for a month, you should have come across some information regarding your inquiries.

Just so you know, a nice green laser just under 1W will cost you heaps. Over a grand most likely. Here's an article about buying your first green laser. http://laserpointerforums.com/f45/guide-buying-your-first-green-laser-30608.html

Red lasers over 1W, well, good luck finding one. And good luck having it be a nice price too.

If you want something really strong, go with a 445nm laser. They're all over the Buy and Sell section. They're really cheap right now; you can get a 1.1W-1.2W for $180 from Yobresal. Here's his topic. http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/1-1-2-watt-445nm-lasers-cheap-180-a-54005.html

Dude you need to be more specific...

If you got the bucks then go buy yourself a LaserGlow hercules 850. I'm sure you wont be disappointed with that!

Well that's the problem, there are too many answers, also maybe the best laser on the forum is 10 pages behind, I don't have that much time to analyze which is better..

Actually, I'm on the forum for less than a week, but however I haven't explored it yet, it doesn't matter.. Anyway thanks for your guidance because I don't know where to start with all this.. So, what would you chose if you were me, a weaker but shinier green laser or a more powerful blue laser..? Thanks again.

More specifically, I've got around 300$ of cash for lasers..

Also, people excuse my English lapses if there are, I'm Macedonian and right now its 2:30 am, 12 hours before my exam.. that sucks

Look at either building your own or purchasing a complete unit. Building one is cheaper but you are limited more in terms of power. While on the other hand you can purchase very high powered ones for a lot more then DIY.

Do you have an LPM? Also you should have introduced yourself in the company section. I know you were here before, but that doesnt count. Also spamming the threads is forbidden. You'll get banned again.

DeathSimpl,
Be careful of scammers. It happened to me soon after joining.
If a seller has a low post count and/or Reps, I suggest using a trusted middle man.
Just a heads up for ya:)

dont currently have a lpm, but I have my lasers tested prior to shipping!
plus I wold be garanteeing the laser, so if the user had an issue he could just simply return to me : )
I take full responsibility for my lasers.
on the introducing myself as a company..
I will definitly do that!
thanks for the tip.
I was actually unaware of such a section.

Deathsimpl: Why don't you state how much you're willing to spend so we can know if you're just a lowballing n00b who needs to be informed of the true costs of lasers, or someone with serious intentions.

So, I'll say again.. The amount I'm talking about is around 300$. And I want either Red or Blue laser, considering to buy the Rayfoss 1W www.rayfoss.com . If you have any better suggestions or you know about a powerful Red laser within that price, please write a post here or send me a PM..

The only reason the you can get blue lasers so cheap is due to the Casio Projectors being taken apart and harvested for laser diodes. Other wavelengths are still quite expensive when you approach the power output the the Casio diodes(445-447nm) can reach. Your not going to find a red or a green laser close to 1W for ≤$300.

If this is a WTB thread you should keep the thread on topic as to the details of the laser your looking for, and how much you have, questions should stay in the other forums.

The only options you have for a laser in that power are the DYI builds sold here on the fourms, the dragon lasers Spartan, the Rayfoss...and a few select others.

Stay away from dinodirect and wicked lasers. They are not trusted companies, and they sell underspec lasers.
