WTB: I want a diode

Hi quite new to the forum and dont realy understand the PHR-803T, i have read that the diodes are out of a Xbox HD drive but i thaught that the diode had to be out of a burner to burn and the Xbox HD drive isnt a burner right ? can someone please correct me ?

Anyways i made this post because i want to know if any one is selling any diodes cheap ?

Not realy fussed about colour as long as it has burning potential  

I want this diode for a DIY project, I dont like baught lasers i get satisfaction from something i made myself but that might just be me lol

Correct it is from a Xbox hd dvd. The Phr-803t is capable of burning,but the Xbox drive does not need those functions so they lower the power to be a reader.
You can order a 2x Hd-dvd from Geeks.com for about 19$ and extract the diode your self .

You can get a PHR-803T sled in the GB going on in the group buy section for around $30.

hahah naw man. its just he said GB,so i thought group buy,but then he says the gb,going in on the group buy section. it confused me . why would there not be a GB in the group buy section ?
