Hello,

I need something that is light weight, has a high output power and gives off a lot of green light (something like a laser but i dont need a tight beam...). i dont necessarily need it with a lens or a pen housing either,

requirements:

*light weight (less than 0.5lbs - 8oz)
200mw - 1watt output
can run continuously

preferable:
bare bones system
no button/switch
diode and driver can be separated by a couple inch long extension wire.
requires less than 3 amps to run
beam divergence within 2 - 10 degrees (very spread like a flashlight)
driver can be set (or easily modded) to run on 11.1volts (triple cell Lithium-ion polymer battery)
and lastly i may want to get two or three

i dont need it to be exactly as ive specified, but it gives you an idea of what i need. if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it, i do need to get something soon!

It almost sounds like a strong green LED would be more suitable for your needs, unless you really want a true laser then LED would be both cheaper and probably better for your needs.

Not an expert though, could be wrong :p

I have a crystal assembly to convert IR light to 532 nm light if you are interested (pump)...
