I guess hes still gone... I was in the process of buying one from him but he was a little swamped, and needed to catch up on his current orders, now hes just gone.
He gave me a quote of $60 -$75 for the Blacked out tripple trit For a C-6 host like the one in your link, and really wanted one for the C6 I built, but hes not around anymore...

I hope hes just taking a break since he was banned for whatever. His ban has been lifted, but he hasn't been back.

Its the tritium its not cheap plus its regulated by the government.

The same focus ring without the trit he quoted me $20 .

"Tritium is an important component in nuclear weapons. It is used to enhance the efficiency and yield of fission bombs and the fission stages of hydrogen bombs in a process known as "boosting" as well as in external neutron initiators for such weapons." Wikipedia

Tritium is slightly radioactive (hence the constant glowing without the need to "recharge" it with light). Because of this property, it is used in all kinds of applications from watch hands to gunsights; anything that needs to glow in the dark. I have a military issue compass that uses it. To get it, you basically need to harvest it from other items which use it, and no, it is not cheap.
There are companies that sell cheap product lines named "Tritium", but they don't actually contain the material. These are either fiberoptic or glow-in-the-dark.

If you found real tritium for that price on ebay, I'd love to see the auction.

Cheapest I'm finding Tritium in ebay is $17 USD and it doesn't look like third of what Jeff puts in the end of his focus rings.

the shipping might have been £2!

Tritium is not cheap. Id say the vials he puts into his focus adapators cost around 15-20$ EACH. Plus you want it black and its custom. The price is not high at all considering the cost of parts and work involved.
Have a good day!

it was very very hard on a c6... the c6 host thickness isnt thick enough to get the tritium recessed inside the host, as soon as you cut more and more into it, you start to drill right through it and your ending up with a hole... so i had to use a self hardenning putty on the hole and sculpture an artificial wall of some sort. and then put the tritium in. at the moment i do not have the picture as i broke my vial yesterday by trying to remove my vial out of the hole. i had only did a mock fitting on a junk piece of c6 host. that is why i was trying to remove it. i will take picture when i attempt it again.
