WTB: Buying 405nm 100mW Laser PEN

I'm looking for a ~100mW 405nm laser pen to complete my laser pen collection.

It's gotta be a pen host and pref. run off of AAA's.

Anyone got one for sale / can point me somewhere to get one (decently cheap)?

Thanks!

Thanks, but I was hoping for something cheaper. And surprisingly, not focusable.

My first 405nm was from a member here but if nobody offers, check out:
eBay My World - itemquickship
I've bought a few lasers from them. They are pretty cheap and are sometimes over spec.

good luck!

EDIT: Sorry, I just saw that you want ~100mW, you need to pay a bit more for that. ;)

Thanks, but last I checked, IQS is only selling 5mW 405nm pens, and I doubt those are gonna be as bright as I want them to be :cryyy:

Thanks! Yeah, I was probably gonna go with Rayfoss if no one here has any better ideas, but I don't really want to wait a month to get my laser.

Actually I want to sell my o-like 405nm 150mW pen.

Just LPMed it last night. It hits a peak of ~160mW with fresh batteries, 1.5v AAA batteries - meaning non rechargeable ones. After peak it slowly starts to fall off. Since it's a lot of power in a small pen, it does start to warm up at ~60 seconds. Personally I have never run it past 70 seconds, I prefer my lasers to last:D

Anyway, if you want it, I'll sell it for $90 shipped, in the continental US of course.

As far as the focusing goes, you can use a little bit of teflon tape to add tension, and basically just leave it set as you want it. Of course there is also glue, but I wouldn't go that far:p

If you're interested I'll post pictures and lpm screenshots from last night.

I'm willing to go down in price a little, could use the money more than the laser...

What is your budget for this laser?

Trust me, I can't give you a fair price for that laser =/ I'd really like to, but I can only offer maybe $50 shipped. And that's a complete ripoff for you.

Yeah... I was gonna go down to $85 maybe $80 if sent as gift, but but $50 is way too far below that...

Good luck, hope you find what you're looking for.

i had JUST bought this 2 days ago
if the seller didnt ship it yet, then maybe he can ship it directly to you?
here is the description
WL Extreme. Someone gave me this laser broken. So I pulled the guts out and modified it with a PHR diode rkcstr driver. I made this over 2 years ago I *think* its set to 120ma. Powered by 2x 10440 AAA size batteries. It isnt professional or a clean install by any means. The button was made out of an LED and parts were pieced together with hot glue and what not. Dont say you weren't warned.

I have a 150mW 405 in an MXDL host that is highly polished. Purchased recently from LPF member, Lazeerer. It's a very nice pen with a flawless chrome-like polish of the aluminum host. I'm just finding that I'm not all that enthralled by the 405 wavelength for my purposes. This runs on two Rechargeable 3.7v 10440 cells.

It would be more than your $50 offer, however, as a lot of work went into it and I paid more than your budgeted amount....
PM me if you're interested....

^^^LMAO - I started reading your post on email notification and for a second thought you wanted to let it go for $50:p

I'll take it for that much myself, lazerer's polished builds are beautiful.
