Oh right... I read his thread. His drivers are so popular! He had so many orders that he couldn't keep up, so he stopped selling them to have time to build his drives that people ordered.

Re: WTB: adjustable high range rkcstr driver

Even though I wouldn't have to assemble them, I'm low on parts :-/

I've been working on a new version with lower dropout voltage (~1V like the Fusiondrive or 'Groove' driver), but I bought what I thought would be enough parts to hold off until I could have it ready.... yeah, well, I sold that, what usually would last 2-3 weeks, in about 4 days!

So, I just decided to hold off on making more drivers so that:

1. I could focus on my studies more... I'm behind.
2. I could finish developing my new driver (hopefully!)
3. I could just get a break from making the drivers, lol!

I'll probably still sell some of the old style in the future, because I still have a good bit of some of the old parts (the most expensive ones at that!). But, I'll try to update my thread with some info as it comes along.

i understand but i want the 1 with the higher dropout voltage b/c i already have acceptable hosts to build with them. ive got 1 host right now that i want to finish b/c i gave my boss the last laser i had and im now laserless.... :'( if you do have extras left i still want them but if some1 has 1 for sale that would be great for now too. ive also got stuff to trade for 1 or 2 drivers.

I've got two unassembled rckstr adjustable kits I bought. What do you have to trade? I can also throw in some 1N400x rectifier diodes if you want them for your lavadrive to drop the voltage, since I doubt I'll ever get through them all.
