missed the recent groupbuy and could use a pair or two of the cylinder lenses for a project that should impress.

dave at lasershowparts doesnt even have a data sheet for the efficiency of his lenses.

opt seems to have a quality product but at $60 plus shipping i'll keep looking.

The C-Lenses from LSP...I believe are BBar AR coated...SOOOooo...you can expect about approx. 1% loss...for each lens....so....a total pf 2% power loss !!

It has been my experience...that the 6X C-lenses work the best....PERIOD....

LSP has the 6X lenses...I would predict...you will not find a single set. of C-lenses...for less than $ 60.... good luck !! Edmonds sells'em at about $ 90- ...PER lens

hey red cowboy, can you measure the minor and major heights of those lenses with a caliper or micrometer?

also i'm curious why we use a setup with a spherical lens and then two cylindrical lenses as opposed to just one spherical and one cylindrical lens to correct the fast axis or
ditch the spherical and use two cylindrical lenses, one for each axis.

They are as advertised.

Because we have an x and y axis that diverge differently, but aggressively, so a primary G2 gets the beam as tight as possible focused at infinity or closer if you prefer and the cyl pair is basically a one axis beam expander to correct the most aggressive, actually this 6X helps it a lot but is still short of a perfect correction, but you get a much improved and useful beam.

I was looking for the radius height, ie how tall the curve is on the lens. figure I can probably source these.
