im looking for a portable 532nm with these characteristics:

- at least 200mW confirmed output
- IR filtered
- focusable
- ideally good quality glass optics
- nice beam geometry
- CR123 or 18650 powered
- ideally not in a cheesy host
- power toggled (not momentary)
- safty features are fine (or not)
- ideally from a good documented provenance (well known company, diy builder, etc)

just something of good quality.

PM me with what you have and price. my budget is up to $500 depending on power and quality.

Thanks for your help.

If you're going for a laser like the one from Rayfoss, I suggest saving up another $100 and getting the 200mW model direct from SKY themselves, which ship from inside the US. There's a thread somewhere that talks about how SKY exports their best models to the US and the ones that don't meet their QC standards are sold to places inside China. Just something to think about, not that the Rayfoss would be bad quality.

Thanks for the tip! Appreciated. I looked at rayfoss and emailed them with some questions. I am concerned about build quality frankly, from them. Most of their lasers have a short duty cycle and mode hopping issues. I grant they are inexpensive but you get what you pay for. It looks like their IR filtered focusable lasers (can't remember the model FCP or something like that) are better build quality. I'll take a look at Sky. thanks!

I took a look at rayfoss and sky. it looks the same host used for the rayfoss FMK models. however for 300mW, rayfoss is $515 and sky is $800. quite a difference. not sure if there are differences internally because they dont give those details. anyone know?
