I can make a 2+ Watt C6 with a copper sink. PM me if you want one.

Good luck on getting anything with a longer runtime in that price range. Even C6 with copper most people say max of 60 on 60 or 90 off.

Blord is a great builder though

not trying to steer you away from Blord either since im VERY happy with my 501B build he made me but if i had the money and was looking for a high powered 445, id snag that polished C6. NOT many polished C6s floating around and the ones that are around are happily in members collections, never to be sold.

either way, you'll be happy with Blord or Awillis

  1. Have you looked into a rick trent laser? You can get a 2.7 watt in a large Cree 8 host for $179 plus * bucks shipping.

He says not to run it longer than 60 seconds. I myself ran it into the ground with months of abuse.....running it several times a day for 3-4minutes at a time.....the unit lasted about 3 months.

    check him out dude

yea, I've been looking at Rick's builds. I just sold a couple of my lasers, as soon as the buyer receives them and I know everything is good, I'm probably going to purchase one of his.

I really like the host on your laser, but I'm going more for power since I just enjoy burning stuff. Thanks though!

 that makes no sense, my 1.5W 445nm can burn anything i want so how would his 1.8W not be powerful enough? you put a better lens on it and its over 2W, which is powerful enough to pop popcorn lol

I already owned a 1.4W, moving up to 3W, definitely much more power..

missed that part but still if you own a 1.4W, it burns just as well as a 2W as long as your 1.4W is focused properly.

what do you plan on burning with a 3W, your house, light a bonfire from 100 feet away, grill a steak?

I *did* own a 1.4W. And yes, it would be a pretty nice accessory to my kitchen

yeah the power differences really can only be seen on a LPM! for burning they will both get the job done and you wont be able to tell the difference in my opinion. and thanks for the complement about my laser!!
